Malgudi, in the novel is an imaginary village. An extension of the author’s thoughts on how he visualized a village in words.
Malgudi, for me is an interpretation of a land that evokes nostalgia. It is a memory. A memory I have never experienced but have translated in the choice of colors and the layering for the autumn/winter season.
It is everything that has built the label today.
A very bohemian mood lends a carefree outlook and yet doesn’t fail to reminiscence a gone by era.
